Welcome to the official website of Joining Hands, a community service program at the Boston University Community Service Center!

Joining Hands is a community service program at Boston University's Community Service Center. Joining Hands servces as a link between BU students and organizations that work with senior citizens and people living with disabilities in a variety of settings.

Volunteers receive the opportunity to work with one of our amazing community partners this year which include Newton Special Athletes, Compass on the Bay, Strongwater Farms and Little Sisters of the Poor. Volunteers receive the opportunity to gain awareness about the issues that surround unique populations and form friendships with people of all ages and backgrounds. No previous experience is required.

Our mission: At Joining Hands, we hope to become better advocates for the elderly and people living with disabilities through education and awareness of the issues each population faces.

Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per week (semester)
